Abstract
Economic development planning requires various statistical data as the basis for determining the strategy on policy, so that development goals can be achieved well. The Strategy results of the policies that have been taken in the past need to be monitored and evaluated. Various quantitative statistics needed to give an overview of the situation in the past and the present, and the targets will be achieved in the foreseeable future.
In fact, economic development is a series of efforts and policies aimed at improving the livelihood of the public, expanding employment, the income distribution of the memeratakan community, improve relations and regional economy through a shift in economic activity from the primary sector to the secondary and tertiary sectors. In other words the direction of economic development is the pursuit of people's income in order to increase, accompanied by an equalization rate as good as possible.
To find out the level and growth of people's income, national income statistics need to be served/regional periodically for use as a national or regional development planning, especially in the economic sphere. The national income figures/regional can also be used as an evaluation of the results of economic development that has been done by the Government and private.
Gross Regional domestic product (GDP) is the gross value added of the entire goods and services that are created or generated in a country's domestic territory arising due to a wide range of economic activity in a given period regardless of whether factor the production is owned by the resident or not resident.
GDP on the basis of the price or known as nominal GDP compiled based on the current price calculation period and aims to look at the structure of the economy. While the GDP in constant prices over the (real) compiled on the basis of the price in the base and aims to measure economic growth.
Konawe Utara economic structure dominated by four (4) categories. The fourth category of the business field, namely agriculture, forestry, and fishing; Mining and Excavation; Construction; the big Trade and Retail, repairs cars and motorcycles. The contributions of the four categories of more than 10 percent. Meanwhile other categories only thirteenth contribute below ten percent. The composition of the fourth field dominance this effort does not change the span of the last five.
Recorded in the year 2017 Konawe Utara’s economic grew by 6.00 percent. It was higher than economic growth in the year 2016, the growth spurt occurs or the production of goods and services in the Konawe Utara Regency during the year 2017..
During the last five years it appears that the magnitude of the GRDP per capita of Konawe Utara is always increasing. Compared to the year 2013, GRDP per capita increased by 32.28 percent in 2017. A very significant improvement, given during the same period, 2013-2017, while population only increased by 11.99 percent. That is, GRDP per capita grew far beyond the number of inhabitants.
