Abstract
The deflation of Kendari City in August 2019 was recorded at 1.56 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 132.92.Nationally, of the 82 cities that calculate inflation, 38 cities recorded deflation and 44 cities recorded inflation. The deepest deflation was recorded in aubau (Southeast Sulawesi Province) 2.10 percent with CPI 136.38 and the lowest deflation was recorded in Tegal (Central Java Province) and Palopo (South Sulawesi Province) 0.02 percent with CPI respectively 134.22 and 136.35.
